About Kousesh

A record of how the work gets done — sport, culture and the science of the body. Based in Warsaw.

What we stand on

01

Discipline

The daily, unglamorous part. Not motivation and not highlight reels — the training, the habits and the price of a result.

02

Ethics

How you train and how you act, not only what you win. Credit where it is due, honesty about what actually works.

03

Flow

The state where the work stops feeling like effort. We look for it in training, in music, in clothes and in the city.

Why Kousesh exists

Sport shows the result: the medal, the highlight, the finish line. Almost nobody records the work that comes before it.

And almost nobody records the culture that grows around it — what people wear, what they listen to, how they think about the craft. At the same time, what science knows about the body rarely reaches the people who train. It stays in journals, or it gets turned into hype.

Kousesh puts these things in one place: the discipline, the taste and the knowledge — told plainly, with sources.

How it started

Kousesh was started by a young athlete who wanted to show a side of sport that had always been missing.

Sport is usually shown through results — scores, medals, highlights. What rarely gets shown is everything around it: the clothes, the music, the taste and the everyday culture of the people who train. Kousesh was built to bring those worlds together, instead of keeping sport in a box of its own.

Sport was never something on the side. It is a part of life — and it always will be.

For the founder, sport is one of the most important parts of life, and an inseparable one. It taught discipline and patience, respect for the work, how to take a loss and come back, and how to keep showing up when nobody is watching.

Kousesh is a way of passing that on — the lessons, the culture and the side of sport that nobody showed.

Why Warsaw

Because it is where the work happens.

A city moving faster than its reputation, with a sport and culture scene nobody has documented properly. Warsaw is not a word on a label for us — it is the people, the clubs, the gyms and the streets we show.

What we're working towards

  • A journal worth saving: research on the body in plain language, every number with its source.
  • Clothing made to the same standard — heavyweight, considered, designed in the open before it is sold.
  • A documented Warsaw scene: the athletes, clubs and places that deserve to be seen.
  • One standard across everything we make — posts, articles and clothing.

What we publish

  • The WorkDiscipline and ethics — the part nobody films.
  • TasteCulture: fashion, music and general taste.
  • MechanicsResearch on the human body, in plain language.
  • GearWhat gets worn and used: equipment, footwear, details.
  • DraftsOur own projects, shown while they are still being made.

Our standard

  • Every number names its source, and we check for newer research before we publish.
  • Other people's work is always credited.
  • No hype and no motivational shouting.
  • Educational content — never medical advice.

For people who care how it's done.
